London
is a town in beautiful Laurel County in southeastern Kentucky. The population was 10,003, according to the 2010 census. Near London, you'll find attractions like the Levi Jackson Wilderness Road State Park, the Daniel Boone Motocross Park, Colonel Sanders Cafe and Museum, Camp Wildcat Civil War Battlefield, and the annual World Chicken Festival. Levi Jackson Wilderness Road State Park is one of London's most loved and most visited attractions. The Mountain Life Museum at Levi Jackson brings visitors into a pioneer settlement with both authentic buildings and replicas of the area. All of the 7 buildings are filled with pioneer relics including tools and household implements. The park also offers a 136-site campground, with utility hookups, a grocery store, a dump station, and three central service buildings containing an activities room, showers, rest rooms, and laundry facilities.
